ABOUT THE PROJECT
The LuFo project “Automated data linking from design to production” was launched in July 2020.
The aim of the project is to develop automated data management as a chain from development to production. The seamless availability of information between all process levels in a semantically defined manner that can be interpreted by machines enables the automation and continuous increase in efficiency of design and production processes.
Within the consortium, ITL is responsible for feeding back the work results to logistics.
A “Logistic Model Generator” is being developed that uses the digital data from design and production to automatically derive strategic planning parameters in logistics. The resulting logistics dossier is intended to support logistics planners in existing processes and reduce manual planning steps. This should enable possible adjustments in logistics to be checked and implemented promptly in the event of change plans in production.
