Imagine you have to build a new sleigh for Santa Claus! How does an engineer go about developing something like this? First, the idea forms in your own head, but how does it become a blueprint? In the helicopter puzzle, you can learn this and draw in different views and spatially.
Then try to design your own Santa sleigh just like the helicopter model! If you like, you can upload your picture here afterwards.
If you want to draw in perspective, you will need isometric paper, which you can print by clicking on the link. This will make it easier for you! On the first page there is a practice sheet with three simple basic shapes to trace. On the second page, you will then have space for the helicopter.
Step 2 from the helicopter blueprint already has a great similarity to a sleigh, don’t you think?
did you manage to draw a blueprint? What did you draw: a helicopter blueprint or a blueprint for something else? If it’s for something else, please tell us what for.
And what was the most difficult part for you? Did you perhaps even try to assemble the individual drawings into a blueprint on the PC? Exchange your experiences.
And since I’m so curious how it worked out for you, quickly upload a photo of your blueprint!

how did it go with your perspective drawing? Tell us about it…
Did you find it easy, or was it difficult to draw the helicopter in perspective? If you had difficulties, what was the reason? And which model did you use (Lego, cookies, playdough, wooden blocks,…)?
Did you perhaps even draw a completely different model than a helicopter? Maybe a house, a bank, a car,…?
Take a photo of your perspective drawings and share your experiences with us.
I’m really excited!

how do your side and front views and the top view of the helicopter model look?
Take a photo of your drawings and share it with us. And tell us right away which model you used as a template. Was it the Lego helicopter, or one made from completely different materials. What did you particularly enjoy about drawing, or what did you find difficult? Is there a reason why you used these specific colors?
I’m looking forward to your pictures and am excited to hear what you have to report!

what do your helicopter models look like? What materials and colors did you use? What did you particularly enjoy about building or what did you find difficult?
Did you perhaps even build a completely different model?
Take a photo of your helicopter model (if you also built something else, feel free to include that too) and share it with us.
And another completely different question: Who has an idea why some of the cookie parts in our video are colorful? 😉
I’m looking forward to your pictures!

Hello everyone!
Many of you have probably seen different plans before and maybe even used some!? Tell us, what types were they? Do you particularly like one type of plan? Did you have difficulties with other plans?
Or have you perhaps even drawn a plan of something yourself?
I’m excited to hear about your experiences.

Well, did you find any more objects at home and test whether the center of gravity was exactly or approximately in the middle?
Then take a photo of the object right away. Upload it and write whether the center of gravity was approximately in the middle. Of course, you can also take a photo of yourself balancing the object on your finger. But make sure that only your finger and the object are visible, and not yourself.
I’m excited to see what you found :)!

have you ever wondered how things are made? How does, for example, the idea of a helicopter in your head turn into a real product? Imagine you want to build such a toy helicopter or even manufacture a real helicopter. How would you proceed?
Let’s collect ideas together here in the comments.
I’m excited to see what you come up with!
