Soil Mission 3 – Quiz Question

Which soil can store water best?

Felix has a lightbulb moment

Depending on the type of soil, earth can absorb different amounts of water. The grain size influences how much water a soil can store. The finer the grain of a soil, the more water it can hold.

Felix wondersFinally, the question remains: What kind of soil does my plant need?

There are also plants that have adapted to life in a specific type of soil. For example, cacti need very little water and can survive in sandy soils.

Maybe Steffie should get a few of them 😉
