Performing the experiment:
Take a close look at the immersion blender or blender. Then prepare a smoothie and pay attention to how the flow moves, e.g., by looking at small pieces.
Questions to observe:
What did you use to mix the smoothie? An immersion blender? Did the hood with the cutting mechanism have holes? Or did you use a stand mixer? Did the mixer just spin everything in a circle, or were multiple streams visible?
