The Secret of the Wings…
So, let’s start by crafting some paper wings together. Here we go….
We have prepared both instructions and templates for the wings for you to print. In the instructions, we show you step by step how to build the wings. The templates have two wings printed on each sheet. This way, you always have a spare wing in case something goes wrong 😉 Cut out the three wings at the outer markings.
For crafting, you will also need:
– scissors,
– tape,
– drinking straws,
– a ruler, and
– a hole punch or something to make the holes with.
If you like, you can also design and build your own wing.
Task:
Print out the templates and build the three wings from the instructions step by step. Pay attention to how far apart the holes in the wing are. Measure it and write down the measurement. You will need this measurement for part 2 of this mission. The holes must have the same distance from each other on all wings, even if you design your own wings!
Keep the wings for part 2 of this mission, we still need them! Because what good are wings if you can’t fly them 😉
