What did you find out during your research?

What do you suspect: Why did the blue substance not migrate?

Why are all three substances only visible under UV light?

Write your thoughts in the comments below.

Blog task: Trying out Corona tests with other liquids

Felix sitzt am Laptop

You can also try the antigen tests with juice or soft drinks or tap water!

These liquids also change the pH value of the paper strip, and this can cause the proteins to change and show a false-positive colored line.

Write your observations in the comments below and upload photos of your results.

Design a sleigh for Santa Claus

Imagine you have to build a new sleigh for Santa Claus! How does an engineer go about developing something like this? First, the idea forms in your own head, but how does it become a blueprint? In the helicopter puzzle, you can learn this and draw in different views and spatially.

Then try to design your own Santa sleigh just like the helicopter model! If you like, you can upload your picture here afterwards.

If you want to draw in perspective, you will need isometric paper, which you can print by clicking on the link. This will make it easier for you! On the first page there is a practice sheet with three simple basic shapes to trace. On the second page, you will then have space for the helicopter.

Step 2 from the helicopter blueprint already has a great similarity to a sleigh, don’t you think?

Own blueprint!

Well,

did you manage to draw a blueprint? What did you draw: a helicopter blueprint or a blueprint for something else? If it’s for something else, please tell us what for.

And what was the most difficult part for you? Did you perhaps even try to assemble the individual drawings into a blueprint on the PC? Exchange your experiences.

And since I’m so curious how it worked out for you, quickly upload a photo of your blueprint!

Your perspective drawings

Hubschrauber perspektivische Zeichnung

Well,

how did it go with your perspective drawing? Tell us about it…

Did you find it easy, or was it difficult to draw the helicopter in perspective? If you had difficulties, what was the reason? And which model did you use (Lego, cookies, playdough, wooden blocks,…)?

Did you perhaps even draw a completely different model than a helicopter? Maybe a house, a bank, a car,…?

Take a photo of your perspective drawings and share your experiences with us.

I’m really excited!

What do your drawings look like?

Hubschrauber Seitenansicht Vorderansicht

Well,

how do your side and front views and the top view of the helicopter model look?

Take a photo of your drawings and share it with us. And tell us right away which model you used as a template. Was it the Lego helicopter, or one made from completely different materials. What did you particularly enjoy about drawing, or what did you find difficult? Is there a reason why you used these specific colors?

I’m looking forward to your pictures and am excited to hear what you have to report!

Take a photo of your helicopter model (if you also built something else, feel free to include that too) and share it with us.

And another completely different question: Who has an idea why some of the cookie parts in our video are colorful? 😉

I’m looking forward to your pictures!

Hello everyone!

Many of you have probably seen different plans before and maybe even used some!? Tell us, what types were they? Do you particularly like one type of plan? Did you have difficulties with other plans?

Or have you perhaps even drawn a plan of something yourself?

I’m excited to hear about your experiences.
