How can you work on the chromatography mission?

You can choose an interesting topic in the mission overview or in the tab and start a mission directly. Alternatively, you can click through the missions step by step (using the arrow below the mission).
If you don’t know a term yet, use the intro or go back a step for an explanation.
You can use the arrows or the tabs to jump between missions.

As with other experiments on Kniffelix, there is the option to carry them out at home or at school using everyday materials or experiment kits. You can follow the instructions online step by step or use the accompanying material offline.

If you don’t have the opportunity to carry out an experiment yourself, you can look at the photos and videos or read the information texts and still complete the blog tasks afterwards.

A yeast cell is so tiny that it cannot be seen with the naked eye.

But how tiny is tiny?
What do you estimate?

And how many yeast cells are in a 42-gram cube of fresh yeast?
