DTN (Delay Tolerant Network) is a protocol that was developed to reliably and transport data over slow, unreliable and/or intermittent links.

For space applications this protocol has significant advantages, which is why the Smart Sensor Group aims to further evaluate it.

Currently there is no port of a DTN stack to the RIOT Operating System, so the scope of this Bachelor's Thesis is to port and evaluate a suitable candidate.
