Training / Degree programs with Chemistry and Biology

Are you interested in chemistry or biology and wondering if an apprenticeship or a degree program in this field might be right for you? There are many options, and it’s not always easy to find your way. With this overview, we want to provide you with some structure. For each school subject, there are corresponding apprenticeships and corresponding degree programs. Apprenticeships are more practice-oriented, while degree programs convey more theory.

Below the headings, it is indicated where you should apply in each case. Apprenticeships are usually offered by companies and take place in cooperation with a vocational school (so-called dual apprenticeship). However, there are also purely school-based apprenticeships. Classic degree programs are offered by universities and technical universities and first convey the theoretical foundations before you apply to an employer. However, there are also dual degree programs where you get to know the daily practical work in a company and study at a university/technical university at the same time.
