Beachte, dass \(f'(x)> 0\) bzw. \(f'(x)<0\) nur hinreichende, aber nicht notwendige Bedingung für strenge Monotonie ist.
Beispiel 1. Die Funktion \(f\colon\mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R}\), \(f(x):=x^3\), ist streng monoton steigend, aber \(f'(0)=0\).
